Preventative Care & Screening Program
The Preventative Care and Screening Program aims to prevent illness and disease, and promote the health of our patients.
Preventative Care Includes:
- Immunizations such as the annual Flu shot, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Shingles, Tetanus, Pneumonia and others. View more information about immunizations.
- Cervical cancer screening: all women who are or have ever been sexually active are recommended to have a PAP test every 3 years from age 21 to 69. View more information about cervical cancer screensings.
- Breast cancer screening: a Mammogram is recommended every 2 years women age 50 to 74 years old. A mammogram may be recommended at an earlier age if considered high-risk. - Colorectal (colon) cancer screening: recommended for most patients starting at age 50 to 74, talk to your healthcare provider to find out what test is recommended based on your age and family history. View instructions on how to complete your Fecal Immunchemical Test (FIT).
